Our concept is simple. We deliver the courses to you in the comforts of your home, office or salon.
We believe this is the place for you--if your career is stalled, or you have been piecing it together for years, or you just completed school and you have no idea where to start.
Our self-guided, interactive courses, will take you through the BUSINESS of Makeup Artistry and Hairstyling in Moving Pictures, to working with today's 21st-century technology.
Through our academy, you will learn that the cornerstone and building blocks for any business is reliant upon a concrete, sturdy foundation.
Like building a house, the foundation must be solid or it crumbles. This industry is no different! It doesn't matter how skilled of an artisan you are; whether it is applying makeup or styling hair, you still have to negotiate and close the deal.
To be fluent and successful in our craft, we must become proficient in the language of Film & Television. We must understand how the hierarchy functions, where we fit in, as well as know and understand professional protocol.
Each of our seven individual courses come with a scheduled one-on-one career coaching session with Marietta Carter-Narcisse, 30-year film & television veteran celebrity makeup artist, educator and founder of MVMA.
Our bundle saver comes with three sessions when you choose 6-month access and six sessions when you choose 12-month access. These sessions give you the opportunity to gain first-hand feedback from Carter-Narcisse, who will help you work through your career challenges, whatever they may be.
As a graduate of Marietta's Virtual Makeup Academy, we prepare you to deal with the business of Film & Television. We give you the tools necessary to Produce, Direct and Plot your course, regardless of what stage you are in the industry.
